About Driftwood Cove

Driftwood cove has personality and charm on multiple levels. When you enter this beach house you are immediately taken aback by the two story vaulted ship lap siding into an open cupola. A custom made nautical rope light fixture with an old porcelain gas station canopy is a perfect compliment to this home. Tricia saw an open space below the stairway that was intended to be a closet but with a little coaxing she talked the owner and builder into putting a twin bed in it's place. Tricia brought in old reclaimed lumber to wrap the beams in and to build the master bath vanity in as well as the painted reclaimed lumber for the bunk room. The upstairs living room has a french country armoire in a soft yellow that Tricia found in an estate auction as well as a large heavy farmhouse table that she had custom built. See through trouble lights are used to cast light on the table and create a bit of an old time/warehouse feel. This home reflects the old with the new and the rustic with the sweet.
